Dr. Jane Goodall's World Chimpanzee Day Message
Dr. Goodall shares her thoughts on the very first World Chimpanzee Day, celebrated on the anniversary of the day, nearly 60 years ago, when she first entered Gombe, Tanzania, to study wild chimpanzees. Today, Jane shares her reflections on that most beautiful time with the chimpanzees, all that is worth celebrating about our closest living relatives in the animal kingdom, and that we much each take action to protect chimpanzees in the wild, and in captivity.
